How to dewax a surfboard?

Previously you would have to warm your surfboard by either leaving it in the sun, using a hair dryer, a bin bag full of hot water, a kettle of hot water or several other ideas before taking whatever your preferred method of wax scraper was, credit card, ice scraper, wax comb etc. and then scrapes the melted wax off your board.
