So Peter Maisch began shaping fins and his legacy and skills have been passed on to his sons, Gary and Justin. They have a very old-school approach to hand-making their fins. From the start they pour layer after layer of fibreglass resin on a glass plate and construct the fin from the very base up. This method was passed on from their father and the legacy continues on today, making some of the finest fins the world has to offer. If you have ever picked up a set of Maisch fins, you will instantly recognise the quality on materials, craftsmanship and execution. The devil is in the details.

Scarfini Sca5 Thruster Composite 1 Tab Medium
Regular price R 220.00 Save Liquid error (snippets/product-template line 131): Computation results in '-Infinity'%The Scarfini SCA 5 tri-fin set are the most popular all around fin of the Scarfini range. They are well balanced fins for a range of surfers and wave conditions. They are better than most composite fins that are considered 'standard' fins as they are a 70% glass fibre to 30% plastic composite which therefore means they have a stiffer flex, great for increasing bite, drive and holding speed.
These fins are molded with a narrower base and medium template, similar to the FCS G5, which will offer you a strong feel through your turns, top and bottom control and speed down the line. The flex of the fin will provide the surfer with more forgiveness and general control at higher speeds.
